Nice write up. On the steps don’t do the amp research; the stock steps are what likely saved the cab from real damage. If anything get rock sliders. I have seen quite a few Offroad trucks with one step down after a spirited run. Also they really get messed up if they get muddy. That’s probably why they don’t come as a option or you bet ford would have milked that cow.
