Hey there,

New member, longtime lurker!

Decided I'd go check out the 25 802A's as they're hitting the lots now. Dealer 3 miles from my house had one, great! Go to test drive it hit the gas peddle it goes a bit and the check engine light and alarms start going off, breaks won't work at all. It was definitely an adrenaline rush from a truck I'm looking for haha. Didn't get to drive it at all as it's in the shop indefinitely and the dealer is still insistent on a 15k ADM on the truck. Luckily searching around the country I've found an MSRP deal and will likely go with that one... but just for any prospective buyers, there are dealers out there just keep looking, after I've bought mine. ;)

Adding a bit more to the post with a question. I have an amazing late production 2020 Leadfoot that I've enjoyed all 37k miles I've put on her without any issues whatsoever. However one question for all you 24 and new 25 owners, how is the QC on these new raptors? I see the post about all the things you have to check for post delivery and am a bit worried given my personal experience and just reading through others posts. This won't stop me from my raptor addiction, but man!

Welcome to FRF

Make sure you parade that new Raptor in front of that stealership when you get it.
Jen Too had its share of delivery issues too, so don’t let that concern you. Just validate first, BEFORE you leave the lot !

Secured under MSRP!! Be prepared to drive if you live in a horrible car market like Phoenix. Haggled with every dealer here within 400+ miles and none would budge on their ADM, apparently they don’t want to sell cars.

Had it about a week now and I can say it’s an expensive upgrade, but well worth it.IMG_2603.png

Please make sure to drive by those ADM stealerships to kick the tires and rub their noses in losing the sale.

600 miles. Found a few dealers 1200+ miles that were willing to do MSRP but got lucky. The new Raptor made it easy driving home compared to driving the 20 up there. The Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 was awesome, not quite handless driving/Bluecruise however.
