24 Raptor R trombone exhaust

Supposedly the fomoco trubone isnt quite equal length according to spd. ive seen pics of spd and oem side by side and nothing will make the EB sound good

not worth buyin either unless a takeoff

I ended up going up with the Borla tailpipes only. About the same price as the ecoboost pipes but have the much nicer black chrome tips. Need to get some more road time (just installed last night), but really happy with the sound so far!

I’m on the fence with the Borla and 3.5 pipes. The video/audio on Borla’s website with just their pipes sounds pretty raspy and not so deep, so curious if your experience is different now that you have the Borla’s mounted. Thx!

That's exactly where I was too, tried to find someone local to me to hear either Borla or the ecoboost pipes. To my ear, it is perfect. Deeper and not Raspy at all. Does not sound like the clips I have heard at all. I am really pleased with it. Before installing, I would run exhaust in sport mode all the time, now its a bit louder inside the cabin on sport mode (I like it, the wife says its a little loud) and normal is about where sport mode was. Quiet mode is still very quiet.

Great feedback. You sold me on the Borla’s. I’ve always had great luck with them, and if I decide to go with their mid-sections in the future it will be a clean plug and play. Thanks for the feedback and happy driving!
