Sorry to say this but this means nothing other than dealer put your info in while ordering.I have just received the 22 confirmation email today after placing an order with the dealer. Does this mean that my dealer has allocations available?
Means nothing until you have a VIN and build date.I have just received the 22 confirmation email today after placing an order with the dealer. Does this mean that my dealer has allocations available?
Just means they entered your email address when they submitted your order. The dealers allocations will determine how long it take to get your truck. I’ve seen people who ordered a month AFTER me already get build weeks. I’m still unscheduled cleanI received an email a couple days after my dealership submitted for mine. I don't really know what that means, but I hope to get it this year, within the next 6 months.
Yup, that is what I did I believe. Buddy had his sales manager contact me, I gave him my DL, signed a purchase order/agreement, but they also didn't make me put anything down, even though I offered. I did sign the buyers sheet iirc. From reading the Doc, I signed some stuff for the Ford Retail Verification ProgramOrder on 12/28/21 and received email within 1 hr of placing order from Ford for 35s with 801A, Carbon Fiber, Moonroof & tailgate package, beadlock wheels and Rapid Red. Allocations work different with the COVP (Customer Order Verification Program) i think. Ford makes you sign buyers sheet (WBDO), a copy of your driving licenses for the COVP, and a deposit. You get your truck faster in this process than actually waiting for an allocation you might or might not get. It’s all confusing but not sure if Im right. A lot of dealers are not familiar with this program yet.
“Within the next 6 months”…that's a pessimist view. An optimist would say 16 month. Jk…but good luck and post pics when you take delivery!I received an email a couple days after my dealership submitted for mine. hah, right? Honestly, I'm hoping by June, but if it gets pushed to later in the year it won't kill me. I of course want it "yesterday" but all the local dealerships where I live are marking them up a minimum of 10k, and I refuse to pay that kind of idiot tax. I'll gladly wait.“Within the next 6 months”…that's a pessimist view. An optimist would say 16 month. Jk…but good luck and post pics when you take delivery!
