2025 RAPTOR R noise on cold start up? Engine or exhaust? Started@400 miles breaking in easy

Man oh man!
Right when I want to pull the trigger on on one of these I just can’t imagine having a newer R and have problems.

I think it sounds very exhaust like!

2024 R I have the same exact rattle. Been really frustrating.

Same here.....started around 3K miles.

I fixed mine.....just remote start before I go outside.

My 25’ makes this sound, it is clearly the muffler can or the valves right be hind it. Crawled under the truck to identify the issue. It is at the dealer, who recommended a Borla exhaust kit to resolve it.

I got the little rattle as well.. 23 R.. Like the others above, I just start once for the day and let it eat.. Doesn't actually rattle unless it's a tru cold start. Definitely not engine related so you can sleep a little better tonight.

Ford released SSM 53379 for exhaust rattle/rasp on cold start. Only thing it says is they updated the workshop manual to address this condition. Pinpoint test D in section 309-00E
