25 with 80 miles on it
Getting that coating right on those is so elementary. I dont get it. Ford does so much testing in harsh salt environments and components have to meet certain standards. That looks like some guy in california designed it for that climate only.

This is exactly what I was referring to in an earlier post. They fixed this in late 2024 but most recent 2025's have went back to uncoated solenoids which is so odd.
24 on the dealers lot was fine. 25's all look like this. Ford should have FOX replace them. Why let a supplier ship unacceptable parts?

I purchased a 2024 RAPTOR in May 2024 and love the truck but it has some electrical gremlins. Its been to the dealer twice for the same 3 issues: 1) after heavy rains when opening the drivers door, there is a rapid chime and dash warning stating something to the effect of "brake system failure". Closing the door and reopening it clears the message. 2) Using Apple CarPlay with an iPhone 15, after about 10 minutes of talking the call will get muted and switch to AM radio. The person on the other end of the call is unaware since the call stays connected. 3) I have gotten phone alerts from the app stating something to the effect of "Accessory systems have been disabled to preserve battery life". The last time this happened I had just driven about 30 miles and walked in the house. The dealer has not been able to reproduce any of the errors and has done 2 software updates. Battery checks out fine according to the dealer. Is anyone else experiencing this and do any of you have any ideas what the repair is?
