So where is the fluid or was there any?
I would have to imagine there was at some point, but I never noticed it. Which is interesting because Im the type of guy who will typically check both sides of the truck for dings if people close up by me just to be safe. I dont see how that would have gotten past me

You can see the fluid residue. I bet they deny because it was ran 1800 miles without fluid.
As long as the hubs weren't engaged it would be ok. (I wouldn't but it's possible) It would be EASY to see if it's been run without lube and axles engaged, ask P-Diddy.

I would not count that, I had a limited that vibrated a bit, the first thing they did was rebuild the transfer case as they thought the drive line was spinning to fast. I guess on some models it turns at 60% speed so you can shift into 4x4 without destroying it or the clutch’s in the transfer case.
