I live in Lexington. Tried to do business with this dealer several times. I tried to place an order with them and they wouldn't even take it. Used their 3 allocations for dealer orders. They are among the worst. Stay away

educate me. until you do you have nothing. maybe you should actually take Econ 101. there are so many driving forces. did I say that the things I mentioned were all there were. NO. . there are so many variables. nobody here but maybe a few have a grasp on all thats involved with all thats going on. and yes a few hold outs aren't going to make a dent. there are far to many people that either dont have a choice or don't care. have fun as a lone wolf trying to put that downward pressure on the dealers adm. I am not justifying the ADM's. I am just saying whether or not the dealers are doing it, somebody else will. you see it everyday when you see the used prices from individuals (even on this site and others) going thru the roof also manufactures having multiple yearly increases to capitalize too. like is said way to many variables. Everyone wants to get in on the action (heck Ive read here where people ordered two and are now selling one of them for a profit). until supply can increase prices will not come down to where we want them. again there are way to many forces driving up the prices than we all can muster to drive them back down until supplies come up.

There is only one force driving up prices. But I won't go there. ;)

You may not particularly like the messenger or the method(s) the messenger chooses to use, but (s)he's got a point.

In '17, there were plenty of the Jen Juan crew laughing hysterically at folks who paid over MSRP. Back then, just because "you got yours", paying over MSRP was a badge of shame and not something you bragged about or tried to rationalize.

But covid, supply chain, < insert Charlie Brown Teacher voice here >

I wholeheartedly endorse people spending their money the way they want. If they want it that bad, go for it. Maybe it's their dream vehicle. But I'd rather the truck go to some blue collar guy scraping pennies together who will actually do Raptor stuff with it at MSRP or under.

Yeah, one line that struck me is when he said, “there are far to many people that either dont have a choice or don't care.” Too say people don’t have a choice is a bit much. Quote of the day, “Life’s Full of Choices” and we makes them everyday…right, wrong, or indifferent. So yeeeah, gonna agree to disagree on not having a choice.

We do have 3rd world problems. High inflation, open borders, no baby formula, government just printing money, etc...

What I meant was we are going back and forth about 6 figure trucks when the majority of this country are living pay check to pay check and making ends meat
It’s really quite silly.

Nah, I got what you were saying. And I agree that we have it easy compared to other people around the globe.

I have been there, more than a few times as the life goes out of people's eyes. And no one's last words were ever, "I wish I had more money."
