2021 New Ford F150 Reveal

I thought the F-150 platform was made in three different plants but Raptors only came from one of them? If that were the case they could keep running the 2020’s in one plant. They ran the 2004 Heritage F-150’s at the same time as the new 2004 model.

I don’t want hybrid anything anywhere near a future Raptor Extra weight from batteries will not help it fly, and the extra complexity could make it very expensive to maintain long term.

They only make F150s in Dearborn and KC. Raptors are made in Dearborn.

Ford builds over 1200 F-150s a day at Dearborn, with a new F-150 rolling off the line every 53 seconds. Utilizing an entire assembly plant to produce only Raptors would never be feasible; it’s a low volume vehicle.

My 2011 Gen 1 SVT Raptor and my 2018 Gen 2 Ford Performance Raptor were both built in Dearborn Mi.

This is why I ordered a 2020 two weeks ago. I don’t think there will be a new Raptor for 2021. Maybe they’ll carryover the 2020 as a Raptor Heritage. I also believe the SuperCab option is going away eventually.

I love my SuperCab, and really wanted a '21 SuperCab, but am afraid you are correct on both accounts.

No 2021 Raptor would increase the value of my 2019 in the meantime, so I'm good with some supply constraints. Looking forward to seeing some direction tomorrow. Also that Cybertruck is pretty ******* bold, so props to that. Sure doesn't look like anything else on the road.

I think you'll get an idea of what the gen 3 grill might look like ( using a little imagination ) no new Raptor before 2022 or 2023 model year imo

I’m now thinking it’s going to look something like those new Raptor pics are showing. Not sure it’s as aggressive and that truck has more fender flare then true body panel width.

Your Raptorless? Gen3 is a ways out. I’m still loving the Gen2!
