2021 Ford Raptor Delivery ETA???

I think a good question to get answered & maybe some clarity on is…during a “normal“ Model Year (meaning a “non-launch“ year, such as 2018 or 2020), do the order banks for Raptors typically open up the same time as regular F-150’s in the Fall…or are Raptor order banks typically delayed in opening until early Winter (Nov/Dec) or in Spring (Apr/May)?? Past precedent should imply when the order banks for MY2022 will open.

Once that is determined, you can hazard a guesstimate as to when MY2022’s will be delivered…be it late Winter (Feb/Mar) 2022, Spring, or Summer of 2022…barring any unexpected events with the world economy, of course.

My guess is that if 2021 Raptors, that are expected late Summer or early Fall this year, are delayed until Nov/Dec 2021 or after…they will have their orders re-vamped & reclassified as MY2022 orders, but given priority over new MY2022 Raptor orders & first off the line as MY2022’s.

Considering the Bronco’s were delayed & changed MY’s already.

There may be a price increase for MY 2022 with the way commodities and inflation are taking hold. I am getting a 21 and I wouldn’t be shocked to see price increases more than normal for 22s.

I did not know they changed the MY's already on the Broncos so this is some good information to think about. And I would hope that if that's the case Ford would do the same with the Raptor.. But who knows when they are going to find the cutoff - where Raptors that can ship before Aug 15th are MY2021 but anything after that is MY2022?! I am tired of speculating lol just give us more information Ford, sheesh

Some allocations for Bronco got pushed to 2022s but they are not all being pushed. There will be 2021 Broncos. Granted, not sure how I would feel about getting a 2021 in July but.....

Correct…this ^^^ is what I meant.

They were initially supposed to be 2020’s, but were pushed off to 2021 (due to pandemic-related events)…and now, due to supplier issues (hardtops, etc.), some are further delayed & being pushed to MY2022 run, but will be first in line as compared to any “new” 2022 orders placed.

Given the extremely truncated timeframe left for MY2021 F-150 production in general (as the plant will have to shutdown & re-tool for MY2022)…it is a given that some Raptor orders will get pushed to MY2022.

Just saw online that if you called Ford Performance at 800-367-3788 and give them the dealer number and order code they might be able to look up if your order was accepted. Apparently they should know more in about 2-3 weeks for an estimated delivery date. Haven't tried it yet

Just talked to them, He can basically see that an order has been submitted. No other pertinent information. So if you have a DORA you know the same thing he does.

Big thanks for this! Just called myself and verified Ford has the order in their system. He told me to check back by the end of July for updated info.
