I have the whistle sound at low rpms, just noticed it, mine has 249 miles. Mine is a 2020, build date 12/11/19. My whistle noise can faintly be heard at lower rpm when going easy on the acceleration, goes away after about 35 mph. I hear it at 15-35 mph with the windows down. Now that I’m aware of this, I’ll pay attention to freeway and other driving conditions. Is this just an Annoying noise issue, or is there a more serious problem now or down the road as we rack up miles?
"Faintly"--you are probably trying to hear things. IF your Rap was built 12/11, the serious sound issue is not in play with new parts installed according to others after late Nov. Also, don't drive with windows down :)

If there is a 'serious' issue Ford might do something about it...but then again maybe not LOL.

Hey I have a 12/9 with no issues--sounds exactly like my two 2019's and 2018. I think you are probably trying to hear something that is not there if built 12/11.

Enjoy it.

Yeah, I was thinking possible they had some parts that didn’t get changed out. I might make a video sound clip and post, if I can figure it out.

Not sure if Im getting used to of the sound or actually the sound is fading away. lol
I have about 4000KM on the truck and the sound is not as bad as before. Perhaps the bearings get better with use ?

I do have an appointment at Ford Service in about a week, debating If I let them fiddle around with it or just leave it, since its almost gone.

My door jam sticker says Date: 11/19 but my window sticker (under MSRP) says 10 25 19.... So not sure which is right, but both look to be in the BAD zone.

I honestly think its coming from the rear end. The pitch doesn't change with gear selection or RPM. Very slight increase in volume under load. Its still present when coasting. Only changes pitch with speed.

I got a pretty good video of the noise, was going to upload it unlisted to YouTube and let you guys hear it, to see if its the same thing.

What parts are the same between the 150 and the Raptors? What could this be coming from? It sounds like my old 3.5 with an exhaust, but definitely isn't turbo whistle.

That's pretty faint, was thinking it would be a lot louder. I may be hearing it now too and always thought it was the turbos.

Mine is the same sound. Very noticeable at lower speeds. It’s not RPM rated but I wouldn’t rule out trans related. Yes I hear it when coasting but just slightly but it is more pronounced while going up in the gear.

2020 made 11/19 on door sticker and OMG yes it has a whistle...glad I found this thread. I thought at first it was turbo, then air leak, then thought nope it is a bad ground issue coming through audio...nope. I have no idea what it is!

Edit: window sticker says 11/1/2019
