it gets louder. I’m at 2000 miles and it’s very noticeable. I have not taken mine in yet. Haven’t had time.

interesting. I’ll keep monitoring mine. Can’t imagine what would be different about 2020 where this would be a common issue. Whatever it is I’m sure Ford will eventually put out a TSB if there is an actual problem.

My dealer is a big raptor dealer and get large allocations each year. I went in to discuss the noise and found out the GM had a 2020 Raptor as his demo and it makes the noise, so he turned it in for a F250. They have it in service and are doing everything possible to find out what this is. I will post if they find it.

Just picked up a 2020 Lariat Sport and I think I know the exact noise you're talking about. Honestly thought it was normal until I read through the thread. My first thought is that it is related to the active noise cancelling, as it seemed to disappear in sport mode when the engine noise is pumped in.

10/31/19 build date and took delivery 11/27. Will be following this closely.

Picked up my 20' Lead Foot with bead locks around Thanksgiving and thought possibly my ADD Pro Bolt on or recently Tinted Windows were the "wind" noise but sounds like this is more common. My 17' had bead locks and not a single noise, whistle or rattle. Please keep us updated if anyone tracks this down. I agree it is more noticeable from 30-45ish, and I believe it gets so high pitch above that that we cant hear it.. I'm going in for Springs when they come in and will bring this up for sure.

I honestly think its coming from the rear end. The pitch doesn't change with gear selection or RPM. Very slight increase in volume under load. Its still present when coasting. Only changes pitch with speed.

I got a pretty good video of the noise, was going to upload it unlisted to YouTube and let you guys hear it, to see if its the same thing.

What parts are the same between the 150 and the Raptors? What could this be coming from? It sounds like my old 3.5 with an exhaust, but definitely isn't turbo whistle.

Bingo - exact. Not sure how many miles you have, but I'm at 2200 and it's def getting louder and more noticeable. It's I either turn up my radio loud, or get annoyed at the high pitched noise.

ARE THERE ANY 2020's THAT DON"T HAVE THIS SOUND? That's what I'd like to know.....

I have 1700 on mine, the sound on mine isn't getting louder I think I'm just more aware of the sound now. I have zero electrical/mechanical issues with the truck and I'm getting around 18mpg on 93 octane right now. Im really not worried about it, I think if something were to break or throw a code it would have happened by now. I'm just going to enjoy the truck until an issue arises.

I came from a 2017 - had zero issues till about 50k miles. Sunroof failed (tracks), and then had the Cam Phaser issue at 61k Miles....(luckily had the 100k warranty) - Traded it in for the 2020 cause I love the truck so much. But this is very annoying to me. Especially being a 2nd Gen 2 Owner. Things should be getting better and improved upon.
