Have 2019. 3.3 still the lastest for my on ford website

It’s unlikely they will release 3.4 to owners who have lower than 3.2 due to the format required to upgrade and there may well be some known compatibility issues for pre-’20 MY vehicles as well.

It’s likely to be a while before the sync site makes it available to non current units. Kind of like @pple releases software that will work on older model iPhones or computers, but keep in mind that they’re a tech company, Ford isn’t.

Incidentally, I’d noticed some mention of other users having some issues with Sirius after the 3.4 upgrade from lower than 3.2. I thought I’d escaped it until a couple days back when I discovered I couldn’t check fuel prices. I tried a sirius signal refresh, no change. had to do a sync master reset, re-pair my phone, re-set my preferences, etc. but it worked afterward.

“Fuel prices” works for me. It does take about 10-25 seconds to pop up after tapping “Fuel Prices”.

That’s the price for regular gas by you? Wow. I feel pretty good about paying 3 bucks even for 93 octane here.

I got that email from Ford this eve also about a new update for Sync being available. So I checked for the update OTA and to see if it would pull down anything. Nada!

Logged in to the site from home and said no update available. Argh! I have a ‘19 @ v3.3 currently

Anyway I could never get the Mobile apps downloaded and working directly on Sync, until I disabled CarPlay and then attached the phone via USB to the truck. Then suddenly I could see and operate Waze and several other apps from my phone. If this could be done via BT as I heard others have, this would be a benefit to use these apps in the native Sync system vs CarPlay and not have to plug in all the time like CarPlay. I do like CarPlay but I also like options. Unfortunately it’s one or the other.

Enough hot air for now......

Holy shit I never knew this witchcraft even existed. Of course, my prices are not showing. How do you do a master reset and what does it **** up?

it’s under sync general options, and it wipes the sync plate clean. No bluetooth pairing, FordPass, wifi, sirius presets, mood lighting, - everything gets reset to default

Now i have to find all the sirius stations I had preset.

Yeah our fuel tax is about $1/gallon here.

Ever ridden or driven in ‘ye olde country’? Even Commiefornia is cheap by comparison. I think the worst I saw it was probably Germany and at the time - about 10 years back now, it was about $8.50 a gallon.

anyway, hopefully my newer map set will help out. It’s definitely better close to home, some recent construction would make the navigator think I was off in a field somewhere. New maps show me on pavement now, yay!

Anybody do the map update yet from this site
https://syncnavigation.com/ford/home
Gets you the latest maps. (1.18)
It was complimentary for me.
It took about 1.5 hours to download to my PC and then about 1 hour to copy it to my USB. Also takes about 1 hour after plugging in the USB to Sync 3.

I now have the map update on the USB but have not put it in the truck yet.

Anybody done this after doing the software update to 3.4?

My 3.4 update is working flawlessly (have 2019 that had ver 3.3) but just not crazy about the bright blue color.

Going to do the Map update on my next drive.
Anyone else do this yet?
