Dealer finally got cameras in stock and replaced them, as well as electronic board. I don’t believe they touched any of the harnesses. They said a ton of 2020 Fords had camera issues (not just Raptors), and that it is a common and recognized issue. No issues so far - first time since I bought the new raptor that 3 days in a row both cameras work. Will report back if the issue resurfaces, but I am cautiously optimistic that it is fixed.

2020 picked up in December, back camera started intermittently acting up 2 months ago, yesterday first time with squiggly lines across the whole screen. My cameras have never had a good clear image, always more grainy than my past vehicles.
Calling dealer today...

Bought my 2020 raptor in March and a week into it the front camera stopped working. It’s in the shop now getting it replaced. Hopefully it’ll work.

Is there a TSB out yet for this issue? I am one of the unlucky ones with a whistling transmission in my '20, and my service department works well when you give them a TSB to look into and then you can show them that issue on the truck.

It would make it easy for both of us if I can get them a TSB, then show them the video on my phone I took of the backup camera going in and out.

It’s been a couple of weeks now since the dealership replaced the cameras and the pcm, $0 cost under warranty, on my 2020. No issues, both cameras have been flawless.

An SSM was released recently:

SSM 49033 - 2020 F-150/Nautilus/Expedition/Transit/Edge/Escape/Mustang – Front And/Or Rear Parking Aid Camera

Some 2020 F-150/Nautilus/Expedition/Transit/Edge/Escape/Mustang vehicles built on or before 21-Jun-2020 may exhibit various front and/or rear parking aid camera concerns such as poor image quality, flickering and/or completely inoperative. If a vehicle exhibits this condition, replace the affected camera(s). Refer to W orkshop Manual (WSM), Section 413-13. For claiming, use causal part 19G490 and a ny applicable labor operations in Section 11 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

Damn, that does kind of suck. Especially if you have to back in or out of the starbucks parking lot. What I do, when it’s raining the camera is pretty useless, so I hang a few old tires over the tailgate, covering the bumper, so when back into the priusses lined up in the parking lot, I don’t scuff up the truck or get their Smug(™) all over the Raptor.

;)

Honestly, I can’t remember anyone else posting up their camera going out. Not saying it hasn’t happened but has to be pretty rare. I know that doesn’t really help but they’ll get it squared away for you.

I bought a 2020 Raptor in April and am having the same issue!!! Blue, black or shadowed screen..I even have had it happen twice on the front camera. When you look at the 360 veiw it shows the same colar showing on the front or rear camera!

well...the saga continues .. the other day the forward view camera was acting up. Dim picture and inoperative on 360 view. So I called and scheduled yet another appointment at the dealer. The truck sat for three days when I was away for work. Came home to park and the reverse cam was inoperative again. I getting pretty fed up with this.

What does the SSM mean? When I take it in on Tuesday will there be some kind of special fix?

Same issue! Bought a 2020 screw 802a package and within the first week the front camera failed. The truck is 5 months old and the camera has been replaced under warranty. I picked it up and the front camera works but not in 360 mode. This was around 2 weeks ago. It’s been in for service 3 times because of this and it’s going back the 24th for them to “diagnose” the issue and I have to leave the truck there for a couple days they said. It’s honestly ******** how they can’t get a camera to work
