I just added a 2020 Ford Raptor to my small car collection. I also have a 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT 392 and a 38 Chevy Coupe with a 383 stroker.

I live in Long Beach, CA and am interested in suggestions for engine modifications. The local Ford Dealerships is offering a leveling kit and whipple (really an air intake) for $3,500. The beauty of it is I can maintain my extended warranty.

What other modifications do you all suggest?

Pedal Commander (does this impact a warranty?)
Cobb Tuning?

CAI (cold air intake) in itself is not worth anything other than increased noise. You can buy a nice one for $350 and it takes a monkey 30 minutes to install. I am not sure what the leveling kit involves but most people buy after market springs to level the front to the rear or you can do RPG perch collars ($250).

Basically, what I am saying is $3500 is ridiculous. Save paying the stealership. Spend money on aftermarket intercooler in the stock position (lots of choices, just search). Add the CAI and purchase COBB accessport from Goosetuned and run stage 2 map (add +100 hp and +150 ft/lb torque).

All in, you will be lot cheaper than $3500 the stealership wants and have a much more enjoyable and driveable Raptor.

Welcome! Way too much money for any ROI. CAI really not needed. PM member GooseTuned on here. It will be the best money you'll ever spend.

I just bought a 2011 Raptor that's been highly modified except for the motor. I'm installing a 2.9L Whipple Super Charger, headers, XL throttle body and computer chip. Anyone do cams or any other mods for some xtra love ?
