GEN 2 2019 Steering wheel sensation **RESOLVED**

Not really sure how to word this. I did a bunch of searching but came up with nothing. I don’t recall my 18 having this.

When driving, regardless of speed, I FEEL a sensation of grinding/vibration.

• There is no other symptoms other than a feeling in the wheel.
• 2H/4A makes not difference.
• There are no associated sounds or issues.
• Just that slight feeling in the wheel.
• It’s not consistent or persistent.
• Turning left or right or going straight makes no difference
• Sport, Normal or comfort settings don’t make a difference

I’m thinking it’s road specific but it happens on asphalt roads or concrete highways.

just turned 15k miles and I want to say I noticed it about 2-3k miles ago.

I know if I go to a dealership, they won’t find or notice an issue.

thoughts if it’s me or it’s normal.

So, does it do it when you are on the gas, just cruising on a flat surface or when you are off the gas? Or all of the above. Is it speed sensitive or does it do it when you're at the starbucks drive-thru as well.

I really only notice it above say 30mph.

As above, if that doesn't fix it, maybe think about having the dealer check the rack or electric motor.

Why it was the fix I don't know. Is it the wear pattern?

Front tires don't wear flat like the rears. Mine start making all kinds of noises, high frequency vibes and such.

Possibly lost a wheel weight. Take a look in the wheel barrels and see if there is evidence of a missing stick on weight.

I rotate my tires on my raptor and jeep every spring and fall, get ahead of the game. 4X4's have had this problem for as long as I can remember.

I put tape over the weights and just checked and it’s all still there. Pro tip thought.
