What problems?

Leaking oil pans, turbo wastegate rattle, cam phasers, cam tensioners, torque converter failure Yeah at least 30% of their trucks are having these problems constantly. I’ll leave it there .

You don’t know what you’re talking about I’ve had a 2011 , 2017 and and all of them have been in the shop for at least 30 days or more. My 2018’s in right now probably for possible cam phaser failure , i’ll know soon.
Personally I’m sick of it . I love the way the Raptor performs , but I don’t dig the problems.

I dont???

I have a 2017 with over 40,000 miles and have 3 buddies with 2017/2018 raptors. Well over 100,000 miles between us and not a SINGLE shop visit except for oil changes, etc. I'm just pissed I bought the extended warranty. What a waste of money! But then again, I dont know what Im talking about.

It’s all a luck of the draw. Sure these trucks have had some problems, but how many have not? It’s a lot of the same with other brands too. And each brand has produced some parts with known failures. I can feel for the guy that gets a true problem truck. But I wouldn't say to someone else don’t buy one.

I have had Chevy’s and Dodges too. Been there when each had some known problems that affected some trucks. But I didn’t and would not condemn them.

Ride on!

Yet you keep buying Raptors? Apparently you don't mind. Why keep torturing yourself?
Your not allowed to talk crap about how bad they are if you keep putting up with it.
If your that upset about it, move on to something else.

Hello, this is called the Raptor forum. I’m just passing on information if you read what I said you’ll understand that I love the way the truck performs but I don’t dig the problems who does! Ford keeps fixing it, they bought out my 17 and gave me an 18 I’ve had a 2011 2017 and now at 2018 and they all have had noted problems which is documented on this form, what are the odds of that? Maybe the differences is I drive the hell out of my trucks, so I brings on the problems a lot sooner. Ford keeps repairing it I’ll keep driving it like it was intended. Have a nice day

So it's not bad luck, and its not the trucks fault, its how you treat the truck.

So in reality the Raptor is not unreliable.
