First post - been lurking for a while. Thanks for your expertise and education. I’m a lifetime car guy that is making the jump to a truck in the next 2-3 months. I’m already planning a trip to Moab with the family this summer, so the off-road forum as been incredibly helpful finding noob routes and learning about trial ediquitte.
At any rate, I’m hoping to get some specific market intelligence here...
The dealers here in Orange County still seem to think they can sell for MSRP or more. The salesman said they are selling one everyday and they never sell below msrp. But Ive also been lurking on their site and their inventory hasn’t changed in months. I thought maybe they just weren’t updating the site so I paid them a visit today and one of models I have been eyeing is sitting in the corner of lot with a dead battery and covered in dust. Ther must have been at least 30 2019s just sitting around collecting dust (the site was accurate) Anybody have any insight on when these guys will start to get desperate to onload the previous model year? Or should I just start searching out of state for a reasonable deal?
I’m happy to wait a few months and I’m not in a rush.
