I need some help please. I called FP again today. I ordered my 2019 8/15 and it is still unscheduled. Meanwhile I looked at CARS.com and my dealer has 4 listed with vin numbers already assigned for sale. After they checked the vin numbers these stock Raptors were ordered 9/24 a month after they entered my order confirmed by FP. I'm considering cancelling my order and just buying one of the lot. Does anyone have a good explanation that could explain this to me. Thanks for any help!

Has an allocation by Ford been given to your dealer for your build?

Has the dealer chosen to use that allocation for your order?

I'm in a similar situation but in my case, the dealership has not received their 2nd allocation yet from Ford. Even with their 1st allocation, the order has not been given a VIN much less a build date

Same thing happened to me but I noticed it right away. A couple 2/3 weeks ago I called my dealer and asked what was going on and they said ford pulled the stock before the retail for some reason. They called the zone rep and moved me up to a 10/29 build week after I was unscheduled clean with no build week. Luckily I called and got on it ASAP. I’m not sure what they told you but they told me I was first on their list so they corrected the issue

Supposedly Ford produces "customer/sold" orders before stock orders. I would call the General Manager and discuss it with them. They may have entered your order as "stock" or some other reason. Ford didn't accept orders until early September, so you dealer had to hold it.

I agree with you. BUT Some of the raptors in the video do not have a shark fin which makes them 2018s. Also the 1st comment left about the video was from 2 weeks ago. Goto youtube and look at comments below the video.

The body color GPS antenna on the roof is what distinguishes a 2019 from 2017/2018 (which are black).

November 18, Las Vegas, NV. How about yours?
Delivery is scheduled for November 18 to DFW area. That is a Sunday so my dealer said it will be the week of the 19th. He also said there was an * by the date in his system which means the date could change. Finally, he said that the truck was already in production. The last statement did not make much sense to me, especially with FP saying that it is scheduled for 10/25. I don’t know if they are getting stuff together and that is what he meant or what. He is the fleet guy for the dealership and has been there for years so he knows what he is doing and is not a new sales rep.
