The Recaros below do not look like the same seats as the pics at the bottom from the 19 that I took last night. I could be wrong, but it looks more than just leather and alcanatara.

I found out what happened with my order. My dealer had 6 raptors on order, first build 10/29, and one each week after.

I was the only retail order, as 2 other retail orders fell through. For whatever reason Ford pulled the 5 stock orders and scheduled them, leaving mine not pulled.

I called my guy today and he’s calling the zone rep to see if he can put my build in place of another stock vehicle, as normally retail orders have preference and priority over the stock orders. None of the stock orders have recaros, but mine does. At the same time there was no issue with recaros when building the pre order. we got the OK to keep recaros as there would be no pending delays.

So now I’m seeing what they could do for me, and he is trying to swap my order in with a stock order. Fingers crossed and I hope they can work something out for me. I’ll hopefully hear back tomorrow with some good news

Once an order receives a VIN then you can't swap it. Better pray that one of the 5 orders did NOT get a VIN.

You can't change anything under a VIN. A VIN is consider a built car. I have no proof but I have always suspected that dealer inventory (especially at a high volume dealer ) takes priority as it sits out front and attracts customers.

I believe he said that 10/29 was the first build date, then the next few trucks could have had dates after. I didn’t get the breakdown on each truck, but he made it seem like they had ones being built in weeks after. But I know he was looking at them and had to click around to find the one scheduled for 10/29. So maybe they all aren’t scheduled or scheduled within the first few weeks of builds, but what do I know I can’t say with certainty that all 5 trucks are for sure scheduled in the first month.

At the same time I’m also a guaranteed sale, I mean maybe the 5 19s will get sucked up right away for over MSRP?

This ford dealer is the largest in Michigan so they could get a ton of allocations, and a handful right away. I don’t see why that would be impossible
