From DFW Raptors Forum (thanks Chris Jones). This is at the state fair. Guess I am going to have to make a trip. Have already asked if there are pics inside and if that is Performance Blue. Waiting on a response.

The GT is Performance Blue, the Raptor looks like Velocity Blue. The Velocity Blue is a more direct replacement for Lightning Blue, whereas Performance Blue is a pre-existing color previously only used on the GT.

From the look of it that one have recaros, if it was an 802A the mirrors would be painted body color no?

What is the spare mounted on in a non beadlock gen2? My 17’ is beadlock and the spare was mounted on a beadlock without a tpms. Is it same for the cast aluminum wheel set?

That is what I am hoping, but the color on the GT is called Liquid Blue. If Ford was going to keep it the same, then why did they change the name? I ordered a Performance Blue 19. He still has not responded, but I will plan on making it to the fair in the next week.

Ah, I do like that liquid blue color though. I also ordered PB once I saw some color samples. The LB/VB is just too candy colored for me, and I liked that PB has a gray hue to it.

I suppose I'll see it in person when the truck arrives, lol.

A based wheel raptor's spare is also the base wheel without TPMS.

My schedule is set for the week of 10/29. Ordering a performance blue scab w/802a and beadlocks from a dealer in TN.

Yep, I had been talking with Jason since around May/June timeframe. Dora showed that I had a priority of 11 and figured I was second in line.

Liquid blue is a multi step very very
Expensive paint job that isn’t economical to miss produce. I’ve talked to ford performance and was told that PB is basically the mass production version of liquid blue. He said it’s beautiful color and said I made the best choice.
