2019 Raptor Intel

Former 2011 Crew Raptor owner just ordered new 2019 Saturday!
Get to do the follow my build all over again.

To everyone ordering a new 2019, if your considering the Recaro’s try to sit in them 1st. I have Recaro’s in my ZL1 and they are tight and take a long time to break in for bigger guys, I have not tried them in a Raptor though. It’s not a big deal on a sports car for shorter under 1 hour drives, but I would not want them in my daily long distance driver. It’s possible/probable they made them bigger and more comfy for the truck, but I would make sure you like them 1st because the stock Raptor seats are extremely comfortable.

Recaros = fuzzy perforated plastic suede inserts...nothin' more

I don't think the Recaros in the Raptor will be even remotely comparable to those in your Camaro...

Great News! The guy from my dealer called and said my car was pulled for a build. Said I should have a Vin in a couple days!

I do have the Forged Wheels and carbon fiber package included.

Just wondering how the ordered was pulled if scheduling isn't happening till Sept 27th?

I’m sure they would be similar to the CTS V recaros and I really like those seats that are in that vehicle. I haven’t driven the V on long trips but my dad drives it daily and has never had any complaints

Even better yet, production doesn't begin until 10-22. I wouldn't be too excited until I have a VIN in hand.

That's hard to answer. You're probably better off finding a dealer with the build you want.
