this coming year it might be easier to find 2019 assuming we hear early news about a potential redesign gen3 in 2020, even if only regular f150 news are released, it's going to get harder and harder to sell gen2 raptors for above and even sticker price...

I have a feeling the 19 Limited will siphon off some customers, especially if they can't get a deal on the Raptor. There are usually incentives as well as X plan for the Limited.The 19's should have the best pricing in some time.

it seems the live valve would act differently, here’s what I think would happen, once the computer detects the bump in the front wheels it would decrease compression in the rear and make it softer to handle the bump without potently rebounding too much the rear end of the truck

This is a pickup truck and not a dedicated off-roader. The rear shocks are stiff in order to accommodate loads in the bed and hitch. This is further compromised because trucks have a weight distribution around 60/40.

So yes, going around a high-speed bend and hitting a bump in the road will cause the rear end to kick out 1 to 2 inches. If BMW owners think the rear end kicking out 1 to 2 inches is a big deal, they going to have a bad time.

For the safety of passengers in your vehicle and those around you, please don't react to the rear end kicking out 1 to 2 inches. For performance and handling purposes, that is insignificant and driver inputs only make the situation worse. The raptor is stable and wants to drive straight as long as people let it do its thing.

My current truck does this at times as described above, high speed angles train tracks does the trick and a really rough patch of the highway. 2014 Ram 1500

Yup 100% true. I was at DCH Ford in Irvine. Told them I’d take one at MSRP and the manager said not a penny less than $5k over. Gave me some BS line about how if I told him where they’re selling raptors at MSRP he would buy all of them to resell. He had 4 of them a few weeks ago and last I checked he still had 3. LOL
