There are ride height sensors - leveling will mess with where the ECM thinks the shocks are in their stroke :specialed:

It would be fairly dumb of Ford engineers to assume ride height is constant for all trucks all the time. Heavy aftermarket bumpers. Winches. Spring sag over time. All kinds of reasons ride height changes.

All it takes is a few lines of code to calculate a running average ride hight and use that as a baseline instead of assuming every truck will always be at the factory spec now and forever.

Common occurrence, easy fix. Hopefully Ford engineers are smarter than that.

I believe Agate Black is on the 2019 Super Duty. When I was looking at F350s I recall a FTE member posting the color code sheet awhile back and Agate Black was listed as a non-metallic paint since it doesn’t have the “met” code in the description. Not sure how different it can be from Shadow Black if that’s the case.

Um, are you serious in this novel you wrote? It's direct from ford it uses ride height sensors - what type of magic do you propose they use in order to take car of 3% of the total vehicle population that adds a winch and bumper? You guys realize this is a mass produced vehicle for the general population, not tailored to rednecks who add the ADD under-bite bumpers.

Let me know when you invent this magic - PS your theory makes 0 sense, even the mclaren P1 uses ride height sensors along with almost ever professional race car measured off shock pots.

so, repeating what you just said, "95% of the time on paved roads", then why do you need a sensor telling the shocks all four tires are off the ground? Cant wait for this answer.

I may be a lot of things, but dumb is not one of them Mr. Supergay.

Super easy since you clearly flunked out of marketing 101 class.

To entice the population to upgrade to the latest and greatest 2019 and increase sales - incase you didn't know Ford makes vehicles to sell, not to sit on the sales floor.

Man you're dumb.

Are you brain-damaged??? Serious question. We're talking about a pickup truck right? Next you'll claim adding objects to the bed will screw up the ride height sensors and void our warranty. ******* moron.

tell you what dude, if you want to debate I'm all for it, but continuing to make personal attacks calling me gay and dumb isn't going to work. Grow fucken up and debate like a man rather than calling names like my five year old. Feel free to pm me your number and we can discuss further if you like?

* Ford Performance set to release fitted LED bumper fogs

So everything I'm seeing seems to indicate these bumper fogs won't be a factory option on the 2019, but rather a separate add-on you would purchase from the parts department and have installed by the dealer.

here you go

I kept reading about the new blue colors, but just now realized Lightning Blue has been removed. Right?
