Just what I was told by an Auto body shop when asking why no frame work anymore...
Insurance companies won't take the liability on themselves.

Auto Insurance companies are seeing much higher rates of fraud, higher labor rates, higher parts costs, service backlogs, scarce parts availability, plus many owners are upside down or late on payments. Many of them just walk away after a claim, because if they don't have rental coverage, (and they are already behind on payments or the loan is upside-down); why continue the monthly loan or insurance payments while the car is in a shop? Plus If their credit score is already low, what's the point? A lot of them end up driving an uninsured beater and hoping they don't get caught.. Just a sign of the times I guess.
