Traded my 2015 F150 Platinum Screw a couple weeks ago for a 2018 Ruby Raptor with all packages. Ford even threw in a recall notice, just to kick things off. ;-)
Venom Rex 601s with 35x12.5 Ridge Grapplers awaiting install. The truck is also scheduled for XPEL Ultimate and Ceramic Pro Gold (mid-July), along with BD pods in the bumper. Retractable cover should be here Thursday.
Still researching exhaust options, and despite this motor sounding a bit of a **** regardless, I'll likely upgrade.
I ran a Livernois tune on the F150 and still have the MyCalibrator tool, although I'm looking into other reviews on Raptor tunes before committing.
No major plans for suspension. Even more than the HO 3.5TT, the factory suspension is really what I wanted most out of the Raptor over other F150s (or anything on the market). I might add an Icon adjustable collar to level things up ... but the ride is so good stock I don't want to compromise it, and the thing sits plenty tall enough for me on 35s.
Look forward to leveraging the experience of others here!
Quick pick of the new rig and my other vehicles, including the Platty I traded.
Delivery day:
Trade-in (Boss Ultimate Coil-over kit, BFG KO2s, FG spacers, Morimoto Fogs, 2017 steering wheel, FORSCAN hacks inlacing Hill Decent Control, etc):
My daily driver - 2018 Audi S5 Sportback:
My wife's daily - 2018 Audi SQ5:
My 'fair weather' car - 2012 E93 M3:
And finally, something I picked up earlier this year - Amazing 1 owner, SoCal car, 2008 Supercharged with 60k miles (I installed lift module, 2016 OE RRS wheels with larger 275 Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires, etc):
