Is it wrong to expect something even handwritten stating you're buying for MSRP when doing phone order and deposit?
They sound legit an all but saying since it has no stock number they can't do a sales order sheet.
He said "we're kinda country around here so we usually go by our word"
Hmmm....

When I finally found a dealer to sell to me at MSRP when I ordered back in January, I asked the sales manager if he would send me an email where he was selling me the truck AT MSRP and he was more than happy to oblige. Actually, that was the best car buying experience I have ever had in my life.

Well we'll see what happens I went ahead with it...
I did deposit over the phone and asked would he be submitting my order now and he said he had actually already did it!
After getting off phone he sent me a receipt for my deposit and the submitted order sheet showing MSRP minus discounts(NONE) and a final price.

Everything he says seems to align with everything I've read in regards to how the ordering works etc so he seems like a stand up guy.
Said he'd deliver it anywhere within 500 miles even to a family members house I have nearby or he'll arrange shipping to me in Arizona(added cost of course)

I'm excited.

Just a thought for ya...I ordered mine earlier this week, and my dealer is drop shipping mine directly to me in Arizona. Not paying anything extra for shipping...other than the factory shipping charges that everyone pays. My dealer had to find a local Ford dealer to agree to a courtesy delivery. That was $200 to complete the PDI once it arrives from Detroit.

PS: I paid 2500 below MSRP and recieved my DORA today. I did have to pay $2500 in non refundable earnest money to secure the deal. This dealer only received an allocation of 2 units for the year. I went with the 802A loaded with every option except the beadlocks and bed cover...Ford said no more supply issues with the carbon fiber so I went with that...sure hope I don't regret doing so. Leadfoot for the color too.
