I had a motorcycle stolen triumph bonniville and a 65 fuelie vette. Never to be found.
Thieves should be shot and hung immediately. Good bye no jail no trial
Put the fear of GOD into them.
In Montana old west law “horse thieves and rustlers instantaneous execution by hanging “ Tennessee still has law on books hanging for horse thieves. Needs to include car thieves too.
Ps:sounds corney but every time I park and raptor will be out of sight I put the double CLUB ON THE STEERING WHEEL. The club works simple but effective one look inside seeing the club and theft becomes way more complicated. Love my truck and keeping it mine. Hope this is helpful and just my two cents worth.

My Gen 2 was broken in to the exact same way in San Antonio back in October. Nice hotel— Courtyard Marriott in Stone Oak. Woke up to a Ford Pass alert on my phone of the door being opened at 3:15am. Thugs pulled my horn cord with a clothes hanger hook through the front grill, so the alarm went off but with no horn sounding. Didn’t take anything. Back seat was lifted up and center console rummaged through— looking for guns. Luckily I had it inside the hotel room with me. Hit 2 other nearby Ford trucks— an F-150 King Ranch and an F250 Platinum. 3 nice Ford trucks all within 100 feet of each other. Cops didn’t even come out since they didn’t mess with the steering column. Worst part was the hassle of getting it repaired. Took 2 weeks for parts and paint and repairs to be done, and no rental cars were available. Made it tough to figure out logistics with wife, 3 kids, and work travel. Live in Houston, and usually just drive there, but not anymore. Will fly and rent a car. San Antonio is not a good place for Raptors sitting out in the wild.
Same story exactly for me... actually the same hotel over Thanksgiving. It's a real problem in San Antonio, but based on the MO I think it's probably a few guys who hit F150s - I don't think they are trying to steal the trucks, more likely looking for guns and valuables.

We're just planning on staying outside of the city going forward, or at hotels with secure garages. I think these guys are looking for crowded lots that they can leave quickly (like the Courtyard).

Just in case the Ravelco and upside down door handle don't work, I'm putting these in the front driver and passenger windows:

VACIO NADA AQUI EMPTY

Enjoy :)

Picked up my truck from the hotel parking lot in San Antonio to find the drivers door jimmied.

Handle broken, lock cylinder exposed, damage to the Xpel wrap, and a very small dent. Not much missing inside.

Anybody know of a body shop that’ll put a passenger side door handle on the drivers side in the San Antonio area?
Ya find the guy who took it off, supervise with an AR
