2018 Order Progress

Allocation is in. Just got the word from the Inventory Manager at the Ford dealership that he received the allocation for my truck. He confirmed with the Ford Rep that my truck will be built in July and hopefully delivered in August. He said that he'll have a VIN for me soon. Excited!

PS. Of course as Mr. Thump says below...talk is cheap. I'll update as the process unwinds. We'll see if Jul/Aug build/ship becomes reality.

Though now that I think about it he didn't say which Monday

I'm really confused- how can the dealer promise you a build and ship date when orders aren't set to be scheduled until today?

SOCAL. No need for confusion. Take it easy. After speaking to the Ford rep, the inventory manager simply gave me his best guess. He has been doing his job for a long time. We'll see how accurate his guess is.

Just checked with Ford and my order has gone from 'pending' to 'order processing', which I will choose to believe is a step in the right direction.

I haven't gotten my DORA so probably not me.

I got my VOC on Tuesday but no DORA yet.

What does a VOC look like?

Ordered mine 5/18 my dealer said to get my VIN on monday might be realistic. I cant wait, already got so many parts in my garage for it !

Anyone track their order this morning yet? im having trouble with ford performance chat, but will post up when i get through
