Talked to mine yesterday afternoon and was told that they didn't have their allocations yet. They're supposed to call back today.

To clarify, the info is/has been disseminated to the dealers (talked to one this morning). How quickly they are going to release that info...up to them.

The Audi B&Os are good. But you clearly haven't heard the MB and Porsche Burmesters. Now that's state of the art audio in vehicles!

---------- Post added at 02:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:32 PM ----------

That being said, I think it really depends on vehicle to vehicle, and model to model.

Our 2009 Cayenne Turbo's Bose system is FAR superior to our 2014 Infiniti QX80's Bose. In fact, even my Raptor's Sony is better than that QX80 Bose. Same goes with a lot of the Lexus Mark Levinson audio. Some of them are outright atrocious.

I wouldn't be surprised if this B&O in the Raptor sounds nothing like the Audi B&Os.
Most branded OEM systems are not the same as their non OEM counterparts. Just as the Ford Sony is not like Sony aftermarket solutions. The B&O will not be as good as everyone thinks. It will be better than the Sony, but probably not anywhere near the quality of the Audi B&O system.

If you truly want audiophile sound, the aftermarket is your only real solution.

In this case Bang & Olufsen is a separate company with different owners. Harman bought B&O Automotive years back, which is why Ford says they worked with Harman on the system. I suspect that the only involvement of anyone with a Danish accent would have been in negotiating the use of the B&O Play nameplate.

That's why I suspect that the speakers will essentially be stock JBL (Harman) with B&O labels. Which could still be good. But don't think that Ford is putting a $100,000 Bang & Olufsen system into a $70,000 truck.

Hmm. I saw the leadfoot on a F150 and it did not look good, seems like the color looks better on a car like a mustang but that is my opinion.

I am even more happy that I held out for a Avalanche Gray with CF and beadlocks. Looks like white in sunlight and matte gray in the shade. Pics do not show true color so you have to see in person.

So no more exclusive colors for Raptor since it looks like all the colors are also offered for F150?

So glad I got AG! I get people asking what the color is often and then remarking that it's very cool. As mentioned above, you have to see it in person as pics don't convey how light or dark it can be depending on the lighting.
