Hi all,

I saw a few threads about the glossy door pillars, but no real solution.
The dealer cleaned my car before delivery a few days ago and made a good job of scratching that black glossy stuff!

Will this back to black stuff work? Or wrap?
Ive seen some good looking carbon fiber wraps, any reviews?

Its a known issue.

Back to black will not work.

You can polish then (know what your doing or make it worse), baby them, or wrap them.

They will polish out like paint. Had my xpel wrapped along with front end so never have to worry about them again since it looks bad when scratched.

This - polish them then wrap them under xpel or suntek

Xpel clear wrap them! I had mine done. Also had them do the door handle cups too (and the front and mirrors)

Yours look pretty good in that pic,
I just looked up the DA polisher, does it come with those polishing pads ? And did u use any special material/polish liquid with it?

I bought my Porter Cable D/A polisher separately. Then I had to buy backing plates, a variety of foam polishing pads and polishing compounds.
You can also buy the whole kit that comes with everything.

Polish, and then ceramic coat them. Mine still look brand new.

I did the same and it works great.

I may consider throwing on xpel a few years down the road under the next coating for a long-term solution.
