A buddy of mine is selling his 2017 Raptor, fully loaded except graphics pkg. He has the extended 100k mile warranty and orange accent sets. He also added lights to the front and back along with front springs.
The truck has 22k miles on it. He wants $57k. Good deal?

I think it’s high. You can find a new 18” 802A on the lot for $62ish, or a 19” 802A for $65ish.

It would have to be more than $5-7k away from the price of a new truck... more like $10-15k for 2 model years old.

Plus the whole plastic oil pan issue.

Raptors don’t really deprecated like that, it is just miles really that affect price no real difference from 17 to 18 model.

I would call it a fair deal. Not great. Not bad. That's the going rate here in the Northern Va area. The extended warranty is nice. Front bumper and reverse light kit will cost you ~$1200.

So, you would be OK buying a 17’ for a few thousand less than you could a 19’...?

That doesn’t make good since... Raptor or not.

With the 17’ you have issues with the oil pan, and with transmission shift performance, it’s 2 model years old, the first year of a redesign... not to mention the warranty period is almost over. Then you add the changes to the 19’...

That price is way too high for a 17’!

Mine has 31K miles and hasn't had either of those issues.
