I installed this kit over the weekend and I was surprised how much light it throws. Though its not as narrow beam as other "spot" light bars on the market but for the price, amount of light, and my occasional off-road (beach and mountains)...its ideal.
Prior to jumping into the install it seemed very overwhelming dismantling the front grill but its relatively straight forward just take your time. It took me about 3.5hrs for the full install including wiring a relay and fuse box. Where I scratched my head was at Step 12 and 13. I guess it was my fault for not taking the time to properly read the directions. Didn't realize I had to remove those OE plastic tabs from the slot and slide the bracket tabs into the slot and THEN mount the light to the bracket! HA! I was scratching my head for bit here. It all made sense after...its a big sandwich!
Really haven't got the chance to test the lights on the open roads yet but will get some pictures up soon. I'm interested what the overall distance would be on the sand. Will report back!
