2017 GEN2 edmunds book value

Now here is something that is really going to get the butthurt GEN2 owners flaming.
Has anybody looked at book value on these GEN2 trucks lately? Was just getting ready to put my 2018 deal together and thought I would have a look.

Almost hit the floor. Wow does this truck loose value and even better the guys that paid ADM and 4% APR should have their heads examined and leave poor Squatch alone.

While I realize that the picture shows a Raptor, where does it show that the displayed pricing applies to a Raptor?

Edit: I followed the link and see that pricing shown does in fact apply to a Raptor. However, just for ***** and giggles, I used KBB.com to price out a used King Ranch (they don't have the Raptor yet) and got a similar result... private party value of $49,***. I think that we all recognize that a 4300 mile KR is going to bring more than that on the used market. As for the Raptor, I would guess that there haven't been too many used '17 Raptors sold, so Edmunds is basing their assessed value on a high dollar non-Raptor F150. Pricing tools/guides generally don't capture specialty vehicle prices very accurately until there is enough transaction data to show what the market will actually bear.

Edmunds has no data on used pricing right now so they're just using the same formula as other F150's.

Used vehicle pricing has been tanking cause many are defaulting on loans and new car sales are slow which causes dealers to lower new vehicles which obviously brings down used car values. As for the raptor I don't think actual sales pricing will dip down at such a high perecentage but maybe those that have sold a used gen 2 can weigh in on how much they actually lost out if at all?

Since when did anyone think buying a vehicle, is/was going to generate solid return on their investment? At the end of the day it is a depreciating asset. This ain't AMZN or GE folks. Buy it , mod it , and drive the shit out of it.......enjoy the truck for what it is nothing more or less
