2017 F-150 Raptor - Owner first impressions and review thread!

Took delivery. In short., awesome. Have to say, pics do not do these trucks justice as photos make the truck look somewhat slab sided. In the flesh, however, the width really pops. Even the wheels and tires are much larger in person. That's all I have time for at the moment but will report back later.

Please do. I'm going to buy 4 sets if that's the case. One for me and 3 for the other 3 allocations I sold Raptors. The buyer who got the first one both he and his buddy that drove him here couldn't believe they didn't do LED's there. Especially since all of the other lights are LED.

Perfect fit and amount of light. Color matches the LED in the tailgate handle perfectly. Thirty seconds to install. Pop the old bulbs out, put the LED bulbs in. As some had reviewed, I had no fitment issue at all. Makes me wonder why Ford didn't use LEDs here.

Definitely found a weather condition that the KA2 tires aren't immune to. We've had a decent layer of ice on the roads for weeks now, but gravel laid on top has made it drive-able. Well last night it dumped a good 3 inches or more snow and then by morning it rained another inch on top of that. So it's a layer of rain on top of snow on top of ice. Suffice to say I was going about 10mph with my nails gripping the steering wheel praying I didn't end up in a ditch. I'm going to have to research studding another set of tires

I ordered a set off of Amazon. I'll report once I have the bulbs and the truck to put them in.

Did you leave the original bulb in the left side (for comparison) in this picture? Maybe it's just my eyes, or my screen, but the left and right look different.

The LED is a nice clean white light for sure. Really helps having the original there for comparison. Thanks for doing that.

I guessing you went with the 'cool white' 600 k color? 24 lumens bulb?

Can't recall. I know I bought the least bright ones they offered. Wasn't looking for bright. Just white.
