Considering that I am not all that fond of the new 2015 front look, wow. I'd buy that.

It's still not doing much for me, I'm sure SVT will do better than just copy/pasting the current gen raptor looks onto the 2015 f-150 platform

It looks REALLY heavy in that pic. I know, only a concept...but still looks like a heavy bitch.

Time to buy Alcoa stocks?
I think aluminum is a good thing, not only for us as truck consumers due to weight and strength and corrosion all those benefits etc but also economy wise. Opening the market up with new demand, more vehicles and makes will follow soon especially Ford vehicles I'm sure.

Already up 50% since October!

Been meaning to comment on this. The current Raptor already has a composite hood and front fenders. I believe the rear fenders are also a composite. So the weight savings through the use of aluminum would only apply on body sections that are made from steel. The press release said "up to 700 pounds". I bet they mean in the king ranch with the bigger bed would get close to saving 700 pounds.

Think "Aluminum" ...

It might be heavy but it's 700 lbs lighter than what heavy would have been.... :)

There will still be a nice weight savings. You still have the inner bed and the entire cab that will now be replaced with aluminum.
