Guys, if the Raptor continues in the next model, it will probably be a year late, SVT almost always does this. For example the Lightnings, 2010 Raptor based off 2009+ F150, etc.

This is probably right...and then add to that the next 6 months after it first comes out where nobody will sell at anything close to invoice.

So you are probably looking at 10 - 12 more months for the new F150 to ship, another 12 months for the SVT version and then 6 more months before it becomes affordable.

The Lightning went away after a nice run. Will just have to wait and see a year or two after the new one comes out if there will be another. Ford will have to make the call to begin development--who knows what the new Raptor will be. Could be even better than this one or just a option package. Want to see the pictures of the new one (if it is a go from Ford) in development that are always leaked.

Same here, and the earliest there would be a new one is 2016 model year, and who knows about that. And then it will probably be impossible to get a good deal on one that first model year. Makes no sense that they would not make 2014 at all.

We have not made any announcements about the 2014MY yet. Given the continuing strength of Raptor sales, I can’t think of any reason why we wouldn’t still offer it for 2014MY. The sources for the rumors should probably check their sources.

Id be ready for a new one come 2016. Cant wait to see where they want to take the raptor. Even if it isnt a 'Raptor' Ford knows that the offroading market is growing and people willing to pay for a great product. They will always be concocting something new for that market which they are currently dominating. Demand is high... there will always be suppliers.
