Here is latest from the dealer I ordered from. Contradicts the information contained on this site. Am working with another dealer who thinks they can get an allocation. Either way, time to get my original deposit back.

"Hey Mike according to Jeff Davis who orders our vehicles the first step is to get allocation then we can get the Dora and some time after that ford will assign a vin and pull the order for manufactoring. is there some specific information you want that I can possibly help with. thank you"

Any feedback on their response to provide me with a COVA and Dora?

I spoke with my dealer this afternoon. They confirmed what I already knew. Going to have it either a week before or after Feb 16th (didn't know could be a week before!). Of course a week earlier would be sweet. That makes it almost exactly 12 week wait from when I ordered. We decided to pull credit and figure out financing, got 1.64% for 60 months. Planning on 36 doing it in though. No use using my money at that rate.

I think the last two weeks are going to be the toughest....

I plan on financing with USAA at 1.99% unless I can somehow finagle the 1.09% if using the USAA Car Buying Service. Not sure if my dealer would play along with that or not haha.
