2014 order status thread

They should have told you that (and they shouldn't have said 6-8 weeks). When I ordered mine they said they currently did not have an allocation for mine but based on their best guess they gave me when they thought I could expect it. There were two ahead of me at the time. They were very close. It was actually about a month less than they originally estimated. Still a long 3+ months. I hope yours gets pulled shortly. That is the best feeling!

In my case... the dealer told me 6-8 weeks till delivery when I went and ordered it on September 29. Mid November came and passed. And when I ask them WTF was going on it was, "Oh, we didnt have allocation. Should be here the end of January." Which pissed me off because if they would have been honest with me, I would have purchased elsewhere. But in December with them saying end of January... I figured theres no point in getting my money back, going elsewhere, and starting from scratch. But it the Order hasnt been pulled by now.... then I dont see anyway they'll have the truck here as promised. We're gonna have a serious convo and I'll either cancel the order or they'll grant me some concessions either price wise or some other way (mid perch adjustment, free extended warranty... something).

I agree the dealers should have to disclose allocation. I just got lucky. I didn't know anything about it before this forum!
