2014 Cooling Fans

I just noticed mine today after two months. I've been flashing tunes so for a moment there I thought that had caused it. I was idling in my garage when all of a sudden a jet flies by. Ummm, no, it was my engine fan that turned on for a second and then off.

Wow. The fans on my 2011 aren't obtrusive in the slightest. I wonder if they changed the pitch of the fan blades for later models or if they spin at a higher rpm.

Just bought a 2014 raptor last week and got rid of 2011 lariat. Is it just me or does it seem like the cooling fan is on 24/7 on these raptors? Seems like it comes on right when I start truck and never goes off. The truck never over heats or anything just found it strange.

For sure louder than anything I have owned. After a week of ownership that's been the most commented on part haha. But it is Texas in August, stop and go traffic at 102..
