I agree. It doesn't make sense. But apparently the 2-week closure back in July was for 2014 re-tooling. At least that is what I was told.

Wow, you guys heard a totally different story than I did. I heard the three week shut down in July was for vacation purposes. Similar to what Pratt and Whitney does between Christmas and New Years. This is where the "plant shutdown" became so popular. I learn something new everyday, I thought the July shutdown was a beer and burger break for the factory guys. Interesting.

I guess we will be better off if we both are not correct! Can you imagine? While on the break to refit things for the 2014 model, there was a burger and beer break? Now, that, my friend is a recipe for disaster!

Damn October 7th....geez. I was hoping for a September build date, trucks won't get here till damn near Halloween. I was surprised to see another guy had an Oct. 21 build week. They are really pushing the 2013's, I figured the 2014's would be ready on the line by the end of October.

I think WAYYYY more people than expected ended up ordering 2013s and Ford just wasn't prepared for it. Whatever...you and Kris have build dates now!
