Question is:

If you order a 2013 with beadlocks - what kind of spare wheel will you have??

Going to be honest here - By the time I bought my 2013 beadlocks and sold my 2012 OE wheels - I had a whopping $350 in my beadlocks.

So, what does the wheel rim look like without the beadlock ring? Just an all black wheel? I'm assuming that every picture I've seen is with the beadlock ring.

Good question - never taken the decorative ring off of mine. I'll have to check that out.

There was a guy at Silver Lake yesterday that rolled in with a white 13 that had these wheels. He just came from the dealer lot and was trying to figure out Offroad mode, traction control, the locker, etc. I gave him the lowdown and up Test hill he went!

But anyway, they looked good. I think they looked better on the white truck than it would look on my Tuxedo Black. I actually really like the OEM 12 wheels and if I was gonna switch I'd probably just go aftermarket. I guess I'd have to see them on a black truck to make up my mind.

IMO I think they look best on white, black, blue, silver, red, and terrain.

So tried ordering a set of these Bead Lock Wheels when I placed my 2013 Raptor order and the site blocked out this option (even though they didn't show a cost price increase).

I guess it's because they only recommend off road use only.

So my question is this, for those of you that have the OEM Bead Lock wheels, are you concerned with non off road use? And do you use them mostly for off or on road?

I don't think anyone has used them as a true beadlock wheel yet. Please remember that even though you have these wheels, you still have to buy a kit from Ford to convert them to true beadlock wheels.
