I'm sure most are aware and I doubt it does anything to battle the issue that started this but I hooked a 120GB hard drive to the first USB on my 13. Have it loaded with my entire library. No iPad or otherwise. Just leave it there. Same sort of thing as loading the CD's. can search by title, band, and the like.
