its just through the sd card and the radio. it doesnt do anything with the rest of the vehicle

I had a similar problem, the other day when i put my truck into reverse gear the screen froze and stayed like that for a while untill it automatically update by itself...

Is there a way to tell what version of MFT is installed on the truck? I will be picking up my truck in the next week(s) hopefully, and want to make sure I have the latest version. I am travelling out of state to get it, so I will not be at the selling dealer for long ( hopefully ).

If I can update it myself, that is even more betterer :)

Good luck... If not one thing it is another...I would make sure the latest update is on the truck before you leave the dealer...I had trouble loading updates on the sync... From the website via a USB...

you shouldnt have a problem with it. it seems all the dealers have the updated version. when i picked up mine, the old version didnt work at all

My guy setup the Sync account with me when I picked up. Your dealer should set it up for you right there before you leave. Then go into your sync account with your dealer and look. The two should match, car and sync account.

Latest version seems to be Gen2 V3.22. Look at the picture. I also called customer support to check and they confirmed, that was early Oct.

I did also, I had to call tech support. It was not updating because I had the latest version. It would have been nice if it told me that so I did not have to waste 30 mintues.

Tech support seems to be nice and easy to get to, so far.
