Correct,unless your special! So you may have a chance. They like to get the truck on lots first not only for the oohs and aahs but for fit and finish checks. They would much rather repair a defect at the dealer than have a customer order find a defect.

Waiting Sucks!!
I ordered a corvette last dec it took a little longer with plant closings
I drove my wife crazy by the time it was built. The corvette museum sent me a couple of pictures of it on assembly line to make it worse
I'm checking out the bumpers and lights already

would have to be aug,20 first build dates for job 1.

its order by order one week at a time,you get a week then a day scheduled.

Waiting really sux - ordered my 2012 the first hour the banks opened in 2011and took delivery Feb 1. I too drove my wife, daughters and Randy and Reptar CRAZY! Thanks goodness for FRF - got me thru it but WELL WORTH the agony and wait! Good Luck amigo!

Still love my truck (10,11 & now 12) but fit and finish is something they DON'T check...Ford needs to take a lesson from Toyota on exterior fit and finish-I checked 15 Tundra's on a Sunday morning (waiting for the Jeep dealer next door to open) and all body panels, doors and paint were perfect. Exterior fit & finish (at least on Scab's) is way below Toyota and not even up to the level of Dodge (have not looked at Chevy) That said, the rest of the truck is so good ya either live with it, take it to the body shop multiple times or trade it for a new one...

Ordered my 2013 about 7 weeks ago now, dealer told me to expect it around the end of October.

This wait is killing me.
