take this for what its worth - Ford only recommends using the beadlocks for offroad use. Any tire retailer, including your dealer, will not warranty out any tire if it feels its been used offroad.

that being said - ford isnt going to cover your tire on a beadlock wheel. ever. nor will they cover the beadlock wheel should it be damaged - offroad. kind of a cheap, conniving way for them to offer a product and not have to stand behind it.

if you are content on running the wheels with the true beadlock wheels, run the Toyo M/T or the Nitto Trail Grappler. both of those tires will work very well with the beadlock setup and won't be too hard to install. both tires perform very well when aired down too.

now if you are going to run any other tire on the factory wheel - you are going to have to do some crazy stunts in order to damage that wheel. i would feel free to run any tire on the factory wheel. especially if you purchase from a place like Discount Tire that you can purchase a warranty/certification, where it covers damage to the tire.

what kind of tire do you want to run? mud terrain, all terrain?

hope this helps a little.

New '13 Ford Beadlocks go on Saturday :head3:

First time dealing with Craigslist and the guy I purchased from was a swell honest guy. I have heard far too many CL horrorstories that made me reconsider more than once but... with the Wheels & Tires in my bed driving back I had the biggest smile on my face.

Update: Also got the TPMS sensors from the eBay Ohio seller in the mail day before I got the W&Ts, so excited cannot wait.

How are the true beadlocks working? Any issues? Using them on and off-road?

I've got the rings but not installed yet. Still figuring out what to do. Tks

Dot approved bead lock rims here

Hey guys,

Managed to get a sick deal on (4) 13 OEM Beadlocks w/ Stock BFGs for $1600 minus TPMS sensors or spare.

Just looking for some help and clarification on some points. I tried searching: "Non-stock BFG on [2013] Ford Beadlock Wheels" and "Aftermarket tires on Ford Beadlock Wheels" as well as many more combinations under the sun. Now I was hoping someone could help me out on this, I need to know answers to the following:

-What specific TPMS sensors do I need for these wheels? (I just want to have my 12 OEMs w/ sensors just in case I ever need to do a fast swap)
-What other type of Tire options do I have w/ these 13 Beadlock-capable wheels? (I know the instructions online say: "tire failure may result in conjunction with aftermarket tires" but c'mon how many people listen to that in reality?)
-I will be buying a 5th 13 Beadlock-capable wheel for my spare but I was always curious... Why does no-one run a TPMS sensor in their Spare? Is it bad? Or can I do it?

If anyone can shed light on my questions I'd be more than grateful. Thanks for reading and if anyone just wants to throw a shoutout to any good jacks to buy for tire-changes feel free to speak up!
