2012 Raptor driver side axle

Broken driver side axle shredded like a piece of wood no way of knowing what length it was it's either 38 or 38 and a quarter inches long. It is a crew cab with electronic locking.9.75 with 35 spline. My question is any way of knowing the length of the axle by the VIN number the dealer is no help any help would be appreciated.

Well there is only a 38 and a quarter inch axle there is no 38. I installed the new axle but there must be other damage because there is sounds that were not there before. Looks like I'm getting into a spider gear kit
