ok before .....before i get my head chewed off let me say i do not belive my sales person has any reason to lie to me he just spoke to me an said that he spoke to the sales rep from ford yesterday an they said in about 2 weeks they will have vin numbers an be able ti give delivery dates ........ im sure randy can deny this claim or confirm this ....this kinda fits randys time frame for staring builds in the nov period i do not believe this means truck will be arriving earl simply a better time period for when they will be delivered is all

Hopefully the VIN Fairy will make his rounds tonight and some of us will receive good news tomorrow. For those who haven't been following this topic, there seems to be a trend whereby Ford has been generating new VINs on Thursday nights...

I'm not expecting mine that soon, but how are you notified? My dealer's a bonehead, so if it's up to him, I'll probably know the day after it arrives on the lot.

i would suggest regular phone calls at least once a week till they give you the info you need.....they should be keeping you informed man you shouldn't have to hound them for updates

I know I'm a ways out. As we get into next year I'll harass 'em more - or who knows, maybe they'll keep me in the loop. I'm just curious as to how it normally works.

I'm not expecting my truck until mid-Feb at the earliest, which works well for me.
