Standard 6.2L 2V SOHC V8 engine has 411 horsepower and 434 lb.-ft. of torque(1) and is specifically designed for demanding truck applications
6-speed SelectShift Automatic® transmission helps maximize fuel economy and reduce emissions while providing the optimal gear ratio for performance
New TORSEN® front differential provides maximum torque to the front wheel with the most traction for better overall acceleration, handling and traction
Internal bypass shocks by FOX Racing Shox™ provide softer damping at normal ride height for traction and stability, and stiffer damping at the end of the shock absorber stroke for aggressive driving without bottoming out
Unique SVT lower front control arms help provide additional track width for added stability
Unique rear springs combine with FOX Racing Shox to help provide 12.1 inches of rear suspension travel
Off-Road Technologies
A number of specially developed technologies elevate the off-road capability of SVT Raptor to serious levels. Highlights include:
Electronic locking rear differential mechanically locks the left and right axles together, distributing torque equally to both rear axles for excellent off-road capability
Hill Descent Control uses the truck's Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) to maintain vehicle speed on a steep decline at speeds between 2 and 20 mph, so the driver can concentrate on driving not braking
Off-Road Mode engages Raptor-specific calibrations for the throttle, transmission shift schedule, ABS and electronic locking differential for off-road performance
