Are their any difference between the 2012 and 2014. I love my 12 not sure if it's worts moving up. What changes have been made

Big change is the move to MyFordTouch, with a new center console (in '13). It's a nicer system but it seems to have more bugs.

2013 frame has a slight reinforcement over the bumpstop. I'd think even the $100 SDHQ add-on kit on the 2012 would be stronger though. And it's completely irrelevant if you have a bump kit.

OEM Beadlocks are an option in 13+, but that's not exactly difficult to add to a '12.

The Ford Mytouch is enough to make me not want to get a newer model. I hate Mytouch.

The Ford my touch seems to well despised amongst owners. So for that reason alone I keep the 2012. Everything else is small cosmetic things if at all.. The new color on the 14 Ruby red Special edition wont have any major changes either other than color and seat trim.. So I am keeping my 2012 ...

The MFT system isn't BAD. It's just not the best. Example. On my 2012 2500HD Z71, the basic system understood prompts in a "conversational" manner.

Example: if I was in an unknown area, I could just hit the voice prompt button and say "take me to the nearest McDonalds" or "call Tiffany"

In the MFT system, if I wanted to the the exact thing I would have to say "navigation. Point of interest. McDonalds" or "phone. Call Tiffany. Mobile number".
